Image description: Cutty Sark - figurehead to the 19c tea clipper of the same name, Greenwich.

Cutty Sark is the pretty witch of Burns' poem Tam O'Shanter (1791). After being discovered viewing a witches' sabbath, Tam O'Shanter flees on horseback towards Brigadoon. Cutty Sark manages to just get hold of his horse's tail as Tam crosses the river to safety.
