Image description: Footpath and cycle lane under mature trees, Hyde Park, London.

At 340 acres, Hyde Park is the largest of the Royal Parks. In 1536 the land was seized from the monks of Westminster by Henry VIII (during the dissolution of the monasteries) and it became a hunting ground for deer, boar and wild bulls.
