This is one of five large sculpted angel heads carved of Purbeck stone which sit atop columns set beneath the portico of 100 Juxon House, St Paul's Churchyard. Young always leaves 'some of the quarry skin of the stone showing, so that it's formation in nature can be seen, touched, experienced'.
