Image description: The upper limit of navigation on the River Thames is reached here at the Round House and Cottage, Gloucestershire, just above Lechlade.

This is also the point at which the now derelict Thames and Severn Canal branched off of the River Thames. Plans are well underway to rebuild the Thames and Severn canal - a monumental task to restablish an link important to pleasure boaters.
