Image description: The Temple on Temple Island, just downstream from Henley-on-Thames, River Thames.

The Temple was built by James Wyatt in 1771 as a summer house in Fawley Court and is now owned by the Henley Royal Regatta stewards. The Regatta course starts here and ends at Poplar Point, just below Henley Bridge. The course is 1 mile 550 yards long and takes about 7 minutes rowing to complete.
