These photographs form part of the London Image Collection and cover aspects of Westminster, including Big Ben (clock tower), the Houses of Parliament, the statue of Winston Churchill in Parliament Square before Big Ben and various views of Whitehall and Horse Guards.
There are also pictures of the London Eye glimpsed between and beyond historic Whitehall buildings, the London home of T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) and its Blue Plaque, Victoria Station concourse and double-decker tour bus out front, aspects of Horse Guards Parade, and the monument to Queen Boudicca (Boadicea) rising above Westminster Bridge. Further, there are various street images of red telephone boxes, cobbles, an antique Bristol car attracting attention on a Westminster back-street (being photographed by tourists), views of tour boats before the Houses of Parliament and a narrowboat on the turbulent Thames before Embankment Place and Hungerford Bridge, the postmodern MI6 building (foreign Military Intelligence and security), and an Evening Standard newspaper sign declaring 'Water Found On Mars'!
