France / Massif Central Over the past 14 years I have been
exploring on foot the villages, towns and wild places of this vast, isolated,
quirky, medieval, independent region. This collection covers stock photographs
of both traditional and modern life, rural and city, volcanic and forested,
religious and outrageous.
The Central France collection includes photographs of: the Auvergne, Clermont-Ferrand,

rambling and footpaths, Grand Randonnée, Cantal, Murat, Thiers, knives,
Chaise-Dieu, Haute-Loire, Lozère, Aveyron, Conques, Sévérac-le-Château,
Tarn, Albi, Cordes, and Moissac. I also have some pictorial images of Colmar
and nearby villages of Alsace; and photographs of Dijon and grand crus vineyards
of Burgundy.
