These photographs from the River Thames Image Collection show aspects of outdoor leisure activities such as walking and cycling the Thames footpath beside Old Man's Bridge (including children playing 'Pooh Sticks' on the bridge) and camping beside the Thames.
Pictures of Bampton include the Market Square and a line of fine stone cottages (17-18c) along its main street. Bampton is famous for its three Morris sides - who dance their way through the village's large homes and pubs on the last Bank Holiday weekend in May. There is a photograph of The Morris Clown pub, and a pretty former pub on Cheapside.
