The River Thames stock image collection is categorised by geographical section. The sections are entirely subjective and begin, naturally, near the river's source at Thames Head and run towards London.
The Source-Upper Thames section represents the infant Thames accessible only on foot (or mountain bike or sometimes by kayak). Lechlade is the limit of navigation on the River Thames and photographs covering this stretch to Kelmscott represent pretty village life, water meadows and William Morris's country residence. The Thames meanders greatly between Radcot and Godstow and is still very rural. Images of Oxford show some of the city's fine buildings and colleges, tourist haunts like the Alice Shop and river life. The Henley category contains a wealth of pictures of the Henley Royal Regatta, rowing, stripey blazers, picnics and fireworks. And so on downstream. If you can't find the photographs you need, please just ask. I often have alternative images showing different views, angles, people or boats.
